General Electric whiz fan switch American versus European

Normally, a GE whiz fan toggle switch is delicate and easily prone to breakage not so with the re-badged version sold in Europe.. the European one re-badged with a Thomas Houston logo is built like Fort Knox, and uses porcelain in its construction.. also the toggle switch is slightly shorter than the American version..
