Jim Kovar
I recently bought this from an area antique picker. My first and only non-60Hz pancake... 🥞  Would like to know year of manufacture and aside from missing parts, e.g. the badge, and the goober'd cage repair, is everything there correct?  Just one speed and no on/off switch?

Nicholas Denney
If there ever was an "unfortunate pancake", I think this would be one for sure....

Well, you have a 16" motor, a 12" base, a ??? guard, and a 16" brass bell blade. What would you do with it? Look for a 12" cake blade and motor? Or a 16" stump and blade? Or make a one of a kind humdinger worth a hunnert thou? Edited February 3 by Nicholas Denney

Are you sure it's a 16" motor? I seem to recall some of the higher frequency cycle fans having different coil setups and a thicker housing than the 60Hz models.

Stephen Chew
Hi Jim, 1901, 16" motor. The switch should be in a full rib . The picture shown is a 1902. It has 5 speeds instead of 2. I believe the only thing the differs from 1901 Edited February 4 by Stephen Chew Facts 1
