Phil Mcanelly
I have an old GE 42X548 fan and was wondering if anyone is interested in it and what it is worth.
Lane Shirey
Post a pic. Also items to be sold should be posted in the “sale” area with a price. Often times with low value fans, shipping can exceed the value of the fan, so a fan that’s worth $50 and costs $50 to ship, essentially has no value to a buyer. Common fans are available at fan meets for VERY low prices. You might want to consider these points when pricing it. It might be best to find a local buyer, where there is no shipping costs. Best success in selling it!
Lane Shirey
Is this like your fan? These commonly have cracked or broken oscillating rings. The value varies greatly depending on overall and running condition. If it runs well, oscillates and no visible problems, it’s a fan I could likely buy at a meet for $30-50, unrestored. I hope that helps you to value it. Shipping would likely exceed that.
