David Kilnapp
Hello again fan friends. Chad Baker is selling this fan. It is an AC/DC English fan which has the name REVO. I inquired about the number of cycles that the fan operated at, which I'm guessing is 50. The tag is seen below. My questions are: What number of cycles does this fan likely operate at (50Hz?) What year was this fan manufactured? Thank you in advance for your kind responses.
Russ Huber
Not their guard styling in the 20s. 30s more likely. David Kilnapp
Thank you for all the links, Russ. What do you think that this fan runs at? 50 cycles?
Anthony Lindsey
Most of the 220V english fans are 50, If it was made special for some other cycles I would assume it would be marked for it.

Alberto Noti is a member I have the impression that is hot into fans of this nature. Anthony my bet is 99.9% on his shot at 50 cycles. Nicholas Denney
The tag plainly states; "A.C. OR D.C. UNIVERSAL FAN". There are also visible brush caps, so together these are two sound indicators that this is your garden variety brushed universal motor fan with series connected armature and field coils. Works from D.C. to 60 cycles and anything in-between.

You can say that, but Revo put out something that looks like a 1960s Canadian Seabreeze/Electrohome... in 1928.
