The Tattler headset was a product made under William Tideman. William was also became plant superintendent at Signal in 1922 after his return from Canton Ohio. Harold Tideman (Top row far right) was a sales Rep. in Chicago. Keep in mind Henry Tideman was an independent consulting engineer established in Chicago in 22. Signal's first fan motor the 9" all aluminum Cool Spot did not go to market until 1923. Who.....designed it?? William's wife pressured William to leave his job in Canton, Ohio to come back to Michigan so she could once again be close to her family.
