Me too. The inner rotor reminds me of the laminated field guts of Scott & Janney. I can't connect the castings to a manufacturer.

Not found, that I know of.

Super interesting rotor, both the construction and the winding. Nick's right in that it does have Gramme characteristics.

Hope you can rustle up a better picture of the ornate casing Steve. Still, beggars can't be choosers. None of the motor construction has been seen in true pictures until yours.
