Very excited to purchase this for $30 then I find out that the motor is not original and that it is missing something on the back.. just goes to show you that when you’re excited, you’re not seeing what you need to see but rather you are seeing what you want to see.. I should’ve known better because it has happened to me before.. but still only $30

I find it interesting.. it doesn’t seem to blow air.. it just seems to mix air.. so I am thinking it is some sort of air filter or purifier of some sort.. I can’t find any information after lots of research.. anyway just shaking the fan collector tree to see if anyone has seen one of these..

Could be an ozone generator?  They were popular in the 30’s.  Looks like the ozone generating guts were removed.

1935 - It's a fan-driven scent diffuser, to freshen a room. Gaylord/Fresh'ND-Aire got sued and had to stop using the term "air-conditioned" in relation to their scent diffusers offered optionally on their circulators...
