Louis Luu Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 My fist one. It is the smallest one I've seen. These are usually big. Had to have it. Too cute. 3 Quote
Louis Luu Posted June 4, 2022 Author Posted June 4, 2022 This thing is small and would be impractical. Most of the ones I've seen are much bigger and do work. This thing is pocket size compare to most. Quote

Louis Luu Posted June 4, 2022 Author Posted June 4, 2022 I got another motor without the water part but does have the gear for "hand crank". Quote

It is either hydro or hand crank. That is an early C&H hydro model design compared to the model to follow the following year of 98. Quote

Louis Luu Posted June 4, 2022 Author Posted June 4, 2022 (edited) Cool. Will need to get that done. I thought the holes were for hanging. Edited June 4, 2022 by Louis Luu Quote
Russ Huber Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 Your earlier model could generate roughly 10 volts. Quote
Russ Huber Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 You don't need to do anything to it. It is complete as is. It is an EARLY C&H hydro generator. I have never seen one like that early model in the flesh. Quote

It has the gear on the rotor but need the large hand turn gear. Quote
Russ Huber Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 Something else that is very rare is a cast bronze/brass GE kidney gearbox. I can't find one anywhere. Probably one of the rarester things known to man. Fact Jack. Quote

I had a chance to purchase that today but pass due to the neat looking water dynamo. I normally don't care for water dynamo. But this one struck me as being really odd...it is impractical for it to be that small. I knew I had to have it. Tell me more about the motor you posted. I may change my mind and buy myself another gift. Quote
