An obvious miscommunication. Next time, just PM someone on the forum if seeking information or just post a picture....look at this lovely fan?

No one wants that thing. It's a manual start, too much work.

If the power goes out with it running, and later comes back on with no one there to give it a spin, the motor windings go up in smoke.

I think it is a 24-26 Wagner, not 100%, but almost certain. Hope this helps.

Probably got so hot at one time, it not only cooked the windings, it weakened the pot metal housing.  H ell of a risk if you ask me.

...no dog in this hunt...

I probably hadn't a chance anyways,...

'cause I'm sure every avid, "swinging dork," fan collector was already onto this,...

but,... jeez,... don't obliterate my chances, even if slim, by posting links to active auctions!

Is that John Trier's Dayton spin start?

So you think it's a Wagner?

Like I said above, not 100%.  That Rathburgers guy thinks it probably won't work. He also pointed out just a spin knob to start it?? They must have been on a tight budget as I see it.

Since the cat is already out of the bag and running wild, here’s a photo of the bottom of the fan in question. Hopefully whoever gets it will post better photos or a video.

How about someone identifying this rarity? At this point in time, it would make little difference in its price.

I think it's a Dutch fan. It has wooden shoes.

Clogs. Must have been a Wagner thing.

Dutch?

Pretty sure Wagner
is a German name...

The correct pronunciation of Wagner in German would would sound like .....Vaagner. Hitler was a fanatic of the composer Richard Wagner.  Back to the subject, I stated I wasn't 100% about Vaagner/Wagner. Fact Jack. 🙂
