Great job David I have been following the progress. Get yourself a porter#1 toy motor, I have a left hand six wing hub I could send you or you can order a five blade one from Louis Lu, along with the base.. I can teach you how I fabricated the cage and all the other particulars. anyway, I really love how it looks too.. I am working on a wall mount model. It will be Victorian and looks similar to the one on the afca phone directories book..
Louis Luu
My workbench today. The new water wheel runs with a lot less water. The original one was cast out of lead and heavy. I will make an adapter for the water motor and a base I found awhile back. Stick a blade on it. Patrick Ray
Jim, don't wreck something to the point where it's an "all hands on deck" restoration! Then again... Might be fun!
