Patrick Ray
Doing some cleanup and rewire on a 16" 32V DC Dayton oscillator. Had to repaint the cage and knuckle. Someone did a repair on the knuckle. Strong repair, just not the prettiest.

Patrick Ray
Got the Dayton 31-16 all complete! I love these odd voltage fans. This one is 32VDC. Only thing I repainted was the knuckle and cage. Hardware gun blued. Also gun blued the oscillator wheel for a lil contrast. It's an older repaint, but I think it displays well. Now back onto Emersons! Have a ball motor that needs full buffing then rewire. I'm saving some very special wire for the Emerson! Kim Frank
Not so much on my work bench as above my work bench...The Casablanca Palmetto. We'll be putting up the Fanimation Palmetto and the Fanimation Punkah fans in the coming weeks on the other side of the shop. They will join the 12 Fanimation Bourbon Street belt drives in the shop as a nod to Early Fanimation history. These three models are what Tom Frampton started the company with. John Landstrom
WOW Kim ! Amazing pics. I’m soon to be homeless……well, as soon as I sell my house and belongings and move out. Any chance you’d take in a boarder who’ll live in your shop and work for food ??? That’s what I call a little piece of heaven.

Patrick Ray
Next up on the bench is this 27048 I acquired from Bill Arfmann. Picked it up from him in Nebraska while my cousin was getting married. Family shuttled it back to Chicago. Brought it for a weekend of fan fun in Michigan with Steve Hankes and Luke Skelnik. Got a bridge rectifier installed and gave it a test run. What a gem! Now it's time for a tear down and full buffing of the brass and original finish. Some special wire came for this fan from Tony Clayton. This fan already runs good. Now time for it to look good! @Bill Arfmann @Tony Clayton @Steve Hankes @Luke Skelnik Edited May 12 by Patrick Ray
