David A Cherry
One of these sold on eBay that was found at the bottom of a shipping pier at Lake Michigan with a metal detector supposedly from a sunken ship.. I think the guy passed out when he saw it brought almost $400.. I remember a discussion about this a while back as to why they were so few in existence.. i’m curious as to how many of them still exist.. they were advertised for a few years so there should be a lot more out there.. Sorry for bringing this up again I just can’t remember what the outcome was..so I guess somebody needs to refresh my memory.. maybe somebody can sweet talk Louis Luu into casting a few of them.. but I guess this won’t make the people that have the original very happy so never mind.. I need all the friends I can get.. Edited December 6, 2021 by David A Cherry Won’t load pictures

I have a 97 but no star badge.. lots of pictures in catalogs, So far only one picture of a real one on a fan and one that was found at the bottom of a lake, That popped up on eBay a few years back.... would love to see a picture of the whole fan in someone’s collection.. I think it would look great on the cover of the magazine..
