Patrick Ray Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 Might be an illusion, but in the last pic Russ posted, it appears to be standard right hand thread (lefty loosely). Quote
Jim Roadt Posted September 4, 2024 Author Posted September 4, 2024 1924 signal jr completed 4 coats appliance epoxy rest then cook 200 degrees 3-4 hours takes the shine off nicely. Blade was painted brass originally ( I believe). Front side rustoleum metallic finish gold several coats with 1500 grit between each and baked Back side (my original choice) Rustoleum craft and hobby imagine Metallic brass. Very little difference and difficult to pick up on pictures I just liked Gold better. So simple to restore even I could do it Quote

Larry Hancock(Signal Man) passed on that one. That was a nice clean solid example to doll up. Your set for the Signal 1923 and 24 introduction years. Love the Audioslave tune on your video. 🙂 Edited September 5, 2024 by Russ Huber 1 Quote

Russ Huber Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 (edited) Jim, when you get caught up, I have another one for your developing restoration skills. This one as ugly as it looks runs like new, blade in perfect balance. 🙂 Edited September 5, 2024 by Russ Huber Quote
Jim Roadt Posted September 5, 2024 Author Posted September 5, 2024 hopefully it stays in place and doesn't vibrate off its new home during Cornell Quote
