Your probably right but they look the same as a Northwind that are 1/4 by 1/4.Did you use a micrometer.Im not trying to step on your toes but if they are the same as a Northwind I know the ones that work.

Not stepping on my toes... 1/4inch = 7mm

Actually 1/4 = 6.35mm that's why 6×6mm works just fine!

If you're going to play with a lot of brush motor fans you can still find vintage supply boxes of various brushes on eBay. I own several myself and they come in handy.

UR right Mike! The thing is, now they have become desireable and these classic ASE brush kits are getting pricey...

George .Scotts brushes measured at 3/8 not 1/4 .

I should have said Scott on the quote George.I thought that 3/8 was large is why I ask Scott if it was 1/4.

Yes sir you are correct mine are 9.5mm square and 21mm long.

I found a set of four on EBay that should work with a little fine tuning.
10mm X 10mm X 32mm. Also reached out to Darryl and he may have a few sets to part with for me,

All the kits I researched high and low didn’t have the size I needed. I appreciate everyone’s help and advice.

Years ago would buy vintage brass faucet seats and use them as brass grommets on fans. They are nice to have on hand when can buy 100+ lots of variable sizes.  Never see them offered anymore.

Here you go Scott.I left the spring attachment just a tad long to give you more bite.So if you need to shorten start there.Should be OK.Total length .85 They measure 3/8th wide .If it’s a little tight you can sand slightly.

PM your address to me and I will send them.
