My bet is Rick Robinson may be out playing golf and may not post much, but he is peeking in at this one. And if he isn't, he needs to, because this is one, he doesn't have.

Anthony, other than a train hitting someone in the face, if you don't have a developmental or prototype model modernistic from R&M, I'll eat it without salt.  There is the possibility R&M marketed a few, but, where are they?

The rear casting is brass on Anthony's example. You did good, Anthony. All the pieces of the puzzle fit to well to ignore.

Yay!   Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.

My comment on the small rectangular "bakelite " switch from earlier shows how closely I was paying attention as its solid metal,  lol!

Great research on this.  Thanks to everyone!!

Russ I'll have to buy you lunch as I think I'll keep this.  I don't think it would make a great snack, even with salt.

This fan was with the 1901 Searchlight fan, along with a RM speaker fan and the DC Lollipop.

The seller may have bought this grouping of fans years ago from someone who got them from a someone who got them from someone who worked for/designed for R&M. Fact Jack.🙂

After seeing Ringwald’s Patent, I’m leaning toward it being legitimate.

He doesn’t come on here. He plays golf and enjoys retirement. But he’s collected R&M fans for decades and has several of every model. For now, he’s the best we have.

Once again, I am not with intention disrespecting anyone. But it appears some very persuasive and conclusive evidence was accomplished here in the last few days without any help from the best we have. There are some very good helpful people here that get involved. No one man is an island.
