Story is it was a lady who owned it she is now 97 and the fan was passed down to I think it’s the grandson? Long story short I got it it runs ish and for a good price. He has more fans for me later on.

There's a generational turnover happening. Kids just want shed of this stuff. You should bump into a few. Congrats, I know you put the time in to build relationships.

Your missing some tough to find and expensive parts but you could probably trade that for a very nice fan.   Just a thought........   or hang on to it.

Base looks different than chad's offering. Correct? Looks like a bmy to my untrained eye...

Looks like a 1911 list 1153 or 1404 base, Roger, but it is not. Good eye, Roger.  Trust me, there are other eyes on it other than yours. Such a shame so much missing.

The fan mentioned at top has the early base while the unrestored stump has the later base.   Below is my original 12" feathervane with the early base that I got from Paul Pierson years ago when he was downsizing.  It did would skip a beat now and then until feathervane owner Rick Hill placed a needed drop of oil on the small external spring on the rear of the motor.  Now it runs great.
