Story is it was a lady who owned it she is now 97 and the fan was passed down to I think it’s the grandson? Long story short I got it it runs ish and for a good price. Steve Stephens Posted July 8, 2023 Share Posted July 8, 2023 The fan mentioned at top has the early base while the unrestored stump has the later base. Below is my original 12" feathervane with the early base that I got from Paul Pierson years ago when he was downsizing. It did would skip a beat now and then until feathervane owner Rick Hill placed a needed drop of oil on the small external spring on the rear of the motor. Now it runs great.
